Privacy Policy

Rhythm is a local-first routine planning app. You can use the core manual planning features without creating an account. Optional account, cloud sync, purchases, credits, and AI assistance require sending some data to our backend and service providers as described below.
Information we collect
- Plan data you create, such as plan names, phases, dates, reminder times, instructions, and completion state.
- Account information from Sign in with Apple, such as your Apple user identifier, and email or display name if Apple provides them.
- Purchase and credit information, including App Store transaction identifiers, product identifiers, credit grants, and credit usage.
- AI interaction data when you use AI features, including text, voice input, generated responses, plan slot updates, session identifiers, and usage metadata such as token counts.
- Basic technical information needed to operate and secure the service, such as request timestamps, error logs, and authentication records.
Local-first storage
Plans created while you are not signed in are stored on your device. They are not uploaded to our backend unless you sign in and use cloud sync. Deleting the app or deleting plans in the app removes local-only plan data from that device, subject to normal device backup behavior.
Cloud sync and account use
If you sign in, Rhythm may upload your local plan snapshots to your account so your plans can be backed up and synced. Your account is also used for AI access, credit balance, purchase restoration, and account-level support.
AI assistance
If you use AI features, your relevant plan details, AI session state, text messages, voice input, and generated outputs may be processed by our backend and by AI service providers such as Google Gemini. AI usage may be stored with the plan session so future edits can continue the same context. We also store usage metadata so credits can be calculated and service quality can be monitored.
Notifications and Live Activities
Rhythm uses iOS notification and Live Activity capabilities to show reminders, lock screen cards, and Dynamic Island status. These features are handled by the operating system on your device. Reminder content may appear on your lock screen according to your iOS notification settings.
Purchases and credits
Purchases are processed by Apple through the App Store. We receive purchase validation information necessary to grant credits and restore purchases. We do not receive or store your full payment card details.
How we use information
- To provide plan creation, reminders, completion tracking, cloud sync, and account support.
- To authenticate accounts and protect the service from abuse.
- To verify purchases, grant credits, and calculate AI credit usage.
- To provide AI-assisted plan creation and editing when you request it.
- To diagnose errors, maintain reliability, and improve the product.
Sharing
We do not sell your personal information. We share information only with service providers needed to operate Rhythm, such as Apple for sign-in and purchases, Cloudflare for hosting and backend infrastructure, and AI providers for optional AI features.
Data retention and deletion
We retain account, sync, purchase, credit, and AI session data for as long as needed to provide the service, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and prevent abuse. You can request deletion of cloud account data by emailing juvenijah@gmail.com with the subject “Delete Rhythm Data”.
Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards to protect data. No system is perfectly secure, and you should avoid storing sensitive information in plan titles or instructions unless needed for your own use.
Children
Rhythm is not directed to children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information, contact us so we can review and delete it where required.
International processing
Your information may be processed in countries or regions other than where you live. By using Rhythm, you understand that data may be transferred and processed where our service providers operate.
Changes
We may update this policy as Rhythm changes. We will update the “Last updated” date when we make material changes.
